Raleigh Twenty
Introduction
In
October 2004 my brand new stealth black ‘courier style’ Trek bike
was stolen after only four days of ownership.
Thinking
about how to replace it, and not wanting another ‘steal me bike’
I stumbled onto several cool Twenties via Bikeforums.net
on the web and in time opted to embark on the purchase and renovation
of one of these classic ‘Shopper’ bikes instead of getting something
new.
It
was a steep learning curve, hardly cheap, and something that’s
never really going to be finished but heaps of fun to create and
ride. One thing’s for sure - I’ll never look back!
