Blah iTunes Protected format

Random Image of ElectrochocPeople whinge. "How do I play songs I bought on iTunes on more than a few machines?" Why they do this - when it's so easy to make them your own - is beyond me....

1) Get 'Protected' tracks. Put them into Toast.
2) Make an audio disk image of said tracks
3) Mount disk image to desktop
4) 'Rip' the virtual CD into the non protected format of your choice.

This isn't news but I keep reading about how annoying it is and other massively over-complicated guides to do the above.
It totally sorted me out with some FLAC files I ...er... found on teh interwebs earlier...
Blah.
